| The Steering Committee is finalizing plans for
the October 6th Rocky Hill Heritage Day. The Rocky Hill Cooperative
Nursery School will sell souvenirs, there will be a parade, a ceremony at
Rockingham's new site, a guided walking tour, exhibits in Borough Hall and
in the Amy Garrett House, music and refreshments, activities for all ages
and church concerts. If you have questions or wish to be involved, call
Rich Batchelder or Mayor Brian Nolan. Questions about the commemorative
booklet may be directed to Jeanette Muser at RHHeritage1701@aol.com, or
924-1802.
The Rocky Hill Quilt will be blessed at the Rocky Hill Reformed Church
and will be publicly unveiled in the Borough Hall Meeting Room on October
6th. Residents with old quilts may loan them for an exhibit in the Mary
Jacobs Library from September 20 - October 20. Call Gloria Mack, if
interested. |

TRICENTENNLAL COMMITTEE Councilman Richard
Batchelder has finalized subcommittees to work on plans for October 6,
2001. - Rocky Hill Heritage Day. The chairpersons are:
- Programs, Publicity, Photography: - Vic Washkevich and Brian
Nolan;
- Building and Grounds; Al Robotti;
- Public Safety - George Morren;
- Activities Richard Batchelder;
- Business Support and Food - Ted Merritt and Toby Whitlock;
- Merchandise Sales - Rocky Hill Cooperative Nursery School;
- Heritage Events - Jeanette Muser; Rockingham - Marilyn Crane.
Residents are invited to participate in any of these committees! The
next meeting will be at 7:30 PM on Wednesday, May 30th at Borough Hall.
