Midsize Club Head with Reduced Offset Designed as an option between the G5 and S59 irons. This midsized club offers less offset and a thinner top line than the G5, while still maintaining the forgiveness and stability of perimeter weighting. Larger Custom Tuning Port (CTP) Creates a larger surface area against the face of the club. The increased surface area helps stabilize the face of the clubhead while improving feel and sound. Undercut Cavity Design The pull direction for the cavity is parallel to the ground, rather than perpendicular to the face, moving more mass toward the back of the clubhead. This results in straighter ball flight due to a higher moment of inertia and a mid-high ball flight due to the CG being moved away from the face. Enhanced Perimeter Weighting Makes the i5 extremely forgiving. By increasing the moment of inertia, off-center shots are straighter and distance loss is decreased. Enhanced Aesthetics Includes a new eye-catching PING CTP cap, blue metallic i5 badge and repositioned color code dot for easy visibility. Lead Edge Radius Designed in multiple sections to help improve ground impact for better ball contact. Hosel Notch Controls the bend point for precise loft and lie adjustments. Flat Top Hosel Reduces stress on the shaft and improves feel. New 703 Rubber Grip The new rubber grip has 703 flame-shaped patterns, giving the grip a soft, textured feel.
