A post-emergent, such as Weed Aside kills already existing weeds and is sprayed directly on the foliage of the weeds. For the northern tier of states from Maine to Washington, they suggest Northern Turf for green grass. If at any time you are not completely satisfied with any product, please let GA know and they will promptly refund your money. A pre-emergent, such as WOW, prevents seeds from germinating.
