Birdhouses should be cleaned out after each nesting. Old nests should be removed after each nesting. Locate your hummingbird feeder in the same spot year after year, as returning hummers will come back to last year's exact location, expecting to find the feeder there. Stock your bird pantry with seed, suet, corn, mealworms, nectar -- all the foods your birds need -- and never run out of seed again.
