The Jackson and Perkins research center is just outside Somis California near the coast. Jackson & Perkins is a full service nursery offering all kinds of flowers, trees, shrubs, ground coverings, bulbs, decorative garden gifts, tools, garden accessories, plant care products and roses. Jackson & Perkins began selling roses before the turn of the century, and they are now the company's main garden product. Search freely branched plants with a more natural, rounded habit and more blooms. Roses like a good, deep soak to promote deep rooting and they will actually develop drought tolerance if established this way.
