The variations in bird species, age, and size, as well as other factors such as weather and seasonal behavior make knowing the exact amount of fat, protein, fiber, and energy specific birds need and derive from food difficult. Starlings invade feeders and bird baths in large flocks, consuming large quantities of food and driving other birds away. Give your seed feeders, especially thistle and tube feeders, a shake before you refill them, to dislodge any compacted seed. Most birds take the bulk of their diet from natural sources of food, rather than bird feeders. If for any reason you are not pleased with your purchase, you may return it to Duncraft for an exchange or a full merchandise refund.
