Shaping, firing and scoring his clay with meticulous patience, Martim makes only two eggs a day. First he hands-forms and kiln-fires, then coats with non-glazed pigment, designs and hand-polishes with a river stone until he achieves the texture of marble. No two objets are alike, but all eggs represent the artist's intimate connection to nature.
