12/17/01 Borough Council Meeting Minutes
Absent: R. Batchelder
Chad Lebo is a new member of the Fire Company and Rescue squad.

Trap Rock donated $7,150 to the Tricentennial which was used to cover expenses for the entertainment.

Council members will meet with the Rocky Hill Fire Company trustees to discuss their needs. There is a question as to whether they want to proceed with a large renovation or consider building a new firehouse. Another issue is the time line for purchasing a second truck.

Concerning the development of recreation facilities on the Schafer tract, three entrances have been suggested. Rocky Hill's order of preference are; 1) Wall Street; 2) Young Drive or from the Grand Union parking lot; 3) Princeton Avenue. The entrance will decide the layout of the facility The area is expected to be planned for adult passive recreation and not to be used for organized sports.
