| The quote for upgrading the Borough Hall
electricity was $1090 and the two air conditioners , $4330. The Nursery
School will be asked to contribute $2000.
Borough Auditor, Robert Morrison, reported that the Fire Company and
Borough books were both in good shape. He added that there would be no
increase in the municipal tax: county and school budgets are not available
until later. The municipal rate has increased only once in the last ten
years.
John Rankin continues to work on the agreement with AT&T and the
sewer agreement with Stonebridge, which is almost completed.
R. Batchelder was appointed as alternate for the mayor to the Planning
Board.
The week of March 4th was proclaimed as Sara Durling Week and she was
sent best wishes and roses on her 100th birthday. |
