2/20/01 Borough Council Meeting Minutes
Absent: C. Pihokken
The Nursery School asked permission to install an air conditioner for its summer program. This will require up- grading the building's electrical capacity.

Mr. Robotti will get quotes so both the school and Borough offices will have enough capacity.

Authorization was given to sign the agreement with New Brunswick and ARC. This helps the Borough meet its COAH obligation.

State Police Sgt. Dempsey reported that the State Police were happy to continue their selective patrolling. He felt traffic was slowing but also increasing. He added that his office would like to be represented when the speed monitor is delivered on 3/29.

Mayor Nolan and Council member Batchelder met with Montgomery's mayor and deputy mayor to discuss areas of concern; e.g., Stonebridge sewer agreement, speed limits and renting police officers. More meetings will be scheduled.

Tracy Kazelski was appointed as Assistant Court Adininistrator to 12/21/01.

Carolyn Morrison resigned as Constable (she's moving).

Resolution was passed to award Van Nostrand Services the contract for lawn care.
